The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Kevin Lockley has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Powers.
Lockley avoids the body shot from Powers.
Powers lands a body shot.
Lockley misses with a double jab.
Powers moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lockley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Austin Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lockley misses with a straight right.
Lockley takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lockley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lockley looks to land a combination but Powers avoids it well.
Lockley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Powers.
Powers tests Lockley's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lockley misses with a low kick.
Powers looks to throw the jab but Lockley is out of range.
Lockley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Powers lands a nice shot that snaps Lockley's head back.

That has opened up Kevin Lockley's cut even more.
Lockley walks into a straight right hand from Powers.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Powers throws a looping overhand right but Lockley ducks down to avoid it.
Powers keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The cut above Kevin Lockley's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Powers walks into a straight right hand from Lockley.
Powers lands a nice hook to Lockley's body. Lockley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Powers tries to clinch but Lockley is having none of it.

Lockley looks to throw the jab but Powers is out of range.
Powers scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Kevin Lockley's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Powers cracks Lockley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kevin Lockley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
