Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mink Furer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurand Zespychowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zespychowa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zespychowa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Zespychowa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Furer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Zespychowa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Furer's guard.

Furer controls Zespychowa momentarily but Zespychowa frees himself.

Zespychowa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Furer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zespychowa throws a strike but Furer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Zespychowa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Zespychowa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Furer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Furer prevents Zespychowa from getting back to his feet.
Furer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Furer postures up in Zespychowa's guard and throws a big left but Zespychowa blocks it.

Furer throws an elbow that misses. Zespychowa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Furer's guard. Nice move by Zespychowa!

Furer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Zespychowa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Furer has tightened it up now! Zespychowa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
