Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robb Spewak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Pinderhughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spewak's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The German National Anthem. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robb Spewak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duncan Pinderhughes!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Pinderhughes.
Pinderhughes misses with a double jab.
Spewak has a takedown stuffed.
A big right from Pinderhughes misses.
Spewak moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pinderhughes digs a good body shot into Spewak's ribs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pinderhughes.
No joy there for Spewak, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spewak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pinderhughes is looking to clinch but Spewak is avoiding it.
Sloppy strikes from Pinderhughes. Those never looked like landing.
Spewak shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robb Spewak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spewak fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spewak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pinderhughes to score with a decent uppercut.
Spewak closes the distance and clinches up with Pinderhughes, looking for a takedown. Spewak pushes Pinderhughes against the cage but Pinderhughes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pinderhughes slaps away a takedown attempt from Spewak, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duncan Pinderhughes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spewak is breathing heavily.
Pinderhughes misses with a double jab.
Pinderhughes throws a hook but Spewak avoids it easily.
Spewak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pinderhughes swivels and escapes.
Pinderhughes lands a jab to the nose.
Pinderhughes throws a hook but Spewak blocks it.
Pinderhughes lands a glancing blow to the side of Spewak's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pinderhughes throws a hook to the side of Spewak's head but Spewak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pinderhughes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Some wild striking there from Pinderhughes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pinderhughes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Pinderhughes misses with a lunging right hand
and Spewak counters with a one-two to the body.
Pinderhughes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Pinderhughes lands with a hook. Spewak tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Spewak fails with the takedown.
Pinderhughes thuds his right hand into Spewak's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Spewak shoots in looking for a takedown but Pinderhughes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Spewak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Spewak blocks a jab.
Pinderhughes misses with a looping left.
Pinderhughes throws a lazy head kick
and Spewak counters with a three punch combo that has Pinderhughes backing up. Pinderhughes nods at Spewak to acknowledge the strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spewak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pinderhughes avoids it really well and circles away.
Pinderhughes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Spewak's hands.


Spewak is rocked!
Spewak loses concentration momentarily and Pinderhughes pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Spewak crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Pinderhughes finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Duncan Pinderhughes!
