Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roger Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Valentin Berg!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Berg in his tracks.
Valentin Berg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker catches Berg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Good exchange - Parker coming out on top.
Parker connects with the punch.
Berg misses with a body shot.
Berg on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Berg swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Parker counters with a nice uppercut.
Berg wants to clinch up but Parker keeps it at a distance.
Parker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Berg tries to close the distance and clinch but Parker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Parker thuds his right hand into Berg's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Berg feints and then cracks Parker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Parker down.
Berg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Berg connects with an inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker lands with a kick to the temple. Berg shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Berg ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Parker avoids the head kick by Berg.
Parker tries to clinch but Berg is having none of it.
A head kick misses from Berg.
Berg pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Berg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Parker.
Berg misses with the body kick
letting Parker counter with a right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Berg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fighters circle momentarily. Parker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Berg misses the shot to the body.
Berg throws an off balance right hand
letting Parker counter with a right hand.
Berg scores with a sloppy right hand. Parker should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Parker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Parker feints and then cracks Berg's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Berg down.
Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Berg circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker scores with a punch to the head.
Parker jabs Berg right on the nose. Berg blinks but takes it well.
A low kick from Berg misses
and Parker counters with an outside leg kick.
A big left from Parker misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker throws a looping overhand right but Berg ducks down to avoid it.
Parker blocks a low kick nicely.

Berg rushes Parker and presses him up against the cage.
Berg misses with some punches.
Berg creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Parker's defenses.


It looks like Roger Parker has been cut.
Parker throws a punch but it's blocked by Berg.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Berg.
Berg content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Parker.
Berg misses with an elbow over the top.
Berg doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Parker obliges.
Parker scores with a shot to the side of Berg's head.
Berg blocks a body shot from Parker.
Parker effectively controlling the action here.
Parker pushes Berg back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Berg backwards.


Berg is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Parker lands a big elbow that drops Berg! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Berg is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roger Parker!
An out of breath and clearly excited Roger Parker thanked Malicious Intent Fight Gear for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
