Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Gannon!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Borg gets caught flat footed, as Gannon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
de Borg tries to strike from the bottom.
Gannon won't allow de Borg to sweep him here.
de Borg lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

Gannon trying to control the position from guard on top but de Borg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
de Borg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gannon is one step ahead there.
Gannon is standing up over de Borg. de Borg looks to escape but Gannon dives into side control.
de Borg is looking to reverse the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
de Borg misses with a two punch combination.

and Gannon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
de Borg keeping moving, preventing Gannon from controlling successfully.
Gannon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gannon gets to his feet - de Borg follows without any prompting.
Gannon connects with the punch.
de Borg fails with the takedown
and Gannon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gannon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
de Borg is breathing heavily.
de Borg has momentary wrist control but Gannon slips an elbow through the middle.

Gannon wants to pass the guard but de Borg is keeping the position.
de Borg controls Gannon momentarily but Gannon frees himself.
de Borg trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Gannon trying to control but de Borg is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
de Borg shoots and misses
and Gannon counters with a nice double leg into side control. de Borg won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay de Borg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gannon wants to lay and pray for a moment but de Borg keeps working.
de Borg kicks Gannon off and gets back to his feet.
de Borg lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gannon falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
