Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lei Wulong!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Egorov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lei Wulong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wulong wants to clinch up but Egorov keeps it at a distance.
Wulong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Egorov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Egorov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Egorov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Egorov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wulong misses with a left hand
letting Egorov counter with a right hand.
Egorov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wulong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Egorov swivels and escapes.

Wulong walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Egorov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Egorov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wulong wants to clinch up but Egorov keeps it at a distance.

Egorov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wulong will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wulong on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Egorov. Egorov obviously looking to wear him down.

Egorov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wulong manages to avoid it.

and Wulong counters with a shoot takedown. Egorov fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lei Wulong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Good leg kick by Egorov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice defenses there by Egorov.
Wulong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Egorov.
Egorov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Egorov throws a lazy right hand but Wulong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Egorov cracks Wulong with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Egorov working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Wulong slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Wulong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Wulong wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Egorov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wulong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Egorov, into his guard.

Egorov looking for a triangle here. Wulong is fighting it but it looks tight! Egorov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Wulong is tapping out - this one is all over!

Anton Egorov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
