The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blair.
Yang shoots in for a double leg but Blair sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blair lands a slapping body shot.
Blair throws a series of punches but Yang moves out of range.
Yang on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Blair cracks Yang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Richie Yang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yang drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yang is fighting to break Blair's control of his arms but Blair is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blair wants to stand and escape but Yang is having none of it.
Yang is pushing down on Blair's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blair is fighting to maintain full guard but Yang has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yang wants to take a breather but Blair is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
