Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tadamasa Yamada!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Latka Gravas!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada throws a big shot that misses.
Yamada uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gravas.
Yamada throws a nice inside leg kick.
Yamada throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gravas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yamada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gravas on the side of the head.
Yamada swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gravas thows a leg kick but Yamada checks it
and Yamada counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Yamada scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gravas walks into a stiff left hand from Yamada.
Gravas throws a shot from downtown. Yamada moves away and avoids it.
Yamada takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Gravas is rocked!
Yamada slips a straight right by Gravas.
Gravas is still on wobbly legs! Can Yamada finish him?

Yamada cracks Gravas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yamada has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gravas to stand back up!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Gravas darts in and clinches Yamada up against the cage.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Yamada.
Gravas misses with a short punch on the inside.
Gravas scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Gravas swings wildly with an uppercut but Yamada uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gravas tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamada lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gravas backwards.
Gravas is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Yamada throws a punch but it's blocked by Gravas.
Gravas has a couple of punches blocked by Yamada.
Gravas seems to have recovered his senses.
Gravas goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A nice left hand lands by Yamada.
Gravas misses with some punches.
Yamada can't break the clinch.
Gravas misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gravas misses with the head strike.

Yamada's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Yamada lands a big uppercut and Gravas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gravas looks OK. Yamada waves Gravas back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yamada jabs at Gravas's body.
Gravas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yamada.
Gravas misses with a few strikes there.
Yamada scores with a body shot.
Gravas looks gassed!
Gravas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yamada keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Yamada circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gravas to the canvas! Gravas doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Yamada keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
