PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Gontier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Clasie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gontier comes to the cage accompanied by Three Days Grace - Break. Clasie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sensation White Anthem. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clasie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Clasie lands with an overhand left.
Clasie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gontier's head backwards.
Clasie throws a right hand that Gontier ducks under and follows up with a left that Gontier also avoids with ease.
Gontier tries to clinch but Clasie moves out of range.
Clasie thuds a left hand into Gontier's body.
Gontier tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clasie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gontier somewhat.
Gontier moves away from the strike by Clasie.
Gontier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clasie looks to throw the jab but Gontier is out of range.
Gontier takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gontier shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clasie defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Gontier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adam Gontier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gontier is breathing heavily.

Clasie's corner calls for a 1-2. Clasie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Clasie lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Clasie.
Gontier throws a hook to the side of Clasie's head but Clasie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheers as Clasie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gontier doesn't seem phased though.

Clasie lands a really nice looking cross but Gontier seems unphased.

BAM! Clasie delivers a spinning backfist that drops Gontier like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
