Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cris Dupont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cris Dupont!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Ho!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupont takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dupont will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ho lands a body shot.
Ho lands a jab to the head.
Dupont misses with a takedown
and Ho makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ho stuffs the takedown attempt from Dupont. Dupont gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cris Dupont. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab, jab by Ho - just one landing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ho misses with a jab, cross combination.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dupont shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ho pinned against the cage. Ho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ricky Ho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ho.
Dupont walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ho goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A shot to the liver by Ho. Beautiful body shot.

A left lands for Ho.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ho throws a one two combo.

Dupont is rocked!
Ho feints with a jab and clips Dupont right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Dupont is sent crashing into the canvas and Ho leaps in for the kill! Dupont tries to get to his feet but Ho is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Dupont is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Ho!
