The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A lazy left from Hewitt finds it's target.
Hewitt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hewitt connects with a solid leg kick.
Hewitt catches Diaz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hewitt looks to score with a jab to the body but Diaz is just out of range.

Hewitt cracks Diaz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hewitt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diaz.

Diaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz blocks a low kick nicely.
Hewitt avoids the body shot from Diaz.
Nice sprawl there from Hewitt as Diaz shoots in.
Hewitt scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Diaz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diaz is rocked!
Hewitt throws a hook but Diaz blocks it.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Hewitt finish him?
Hewitt misses with a hook. Diaz ducked under it nicely.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Hewitt forces Diaz back against the cage and clinches.
Diaz is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hewitt is defending well for now.

Diaz lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hewitt backwards.
Diaz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hewitt lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Diaz or not.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hewitt walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hewitt has Diaz up against the cage in a clinch.

Hewitt lands a left hand that snaps the head of Diaz backwards.
Hewitt misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Diaz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hewitt lands with a light punch inside.
Hewitt scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Nice body punch from Hewitt - that landed with a thud.
Diaz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A short uppercut from Hewitt.
Hewitt unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Diaz! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Hewitt is unloading with more strikes now! Diaz drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
