The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lazarus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wright.
Wright tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lazarus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wright somewhat.

Lazarus drops Wright with a big knee straight up the middle! Wright is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
