Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raymond Triplett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Triplett shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thomas is trying to defend but Triplett finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Triplett wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy.
Thomas is looking to escape.
Thomas wants to control but Triplett is keeping busy.
Thomas keeping hold of Triplett's head, controlling as best he can.
Triplett could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thomas dips to his left and cracks Triplett with an uppercut!
Thomas lands a jab to the nose.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Triplett tries to clinch up but Thomas circles away and keeps his distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Triplett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Thomas pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Triplett tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thomas just stands there and leans against the cage.
A short uppercut from Thomas.
Thomas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tripletts head.

Thomas manages to break the clinch.
Thomas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Triplett avoids a punch combination nicely.
BOOM! Thomas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Triplett. Triplett tries to recover but Thomas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Triplett lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Thomas!
Frank Thomas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
