The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Esteban gets a double leg takedown into Tatarskiy's guard.

Esteban could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tatarskiy tries to land a sweep but no joy.

It looks like Vavilen Tatarskiy has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Esteban wanted to stand there but Tatarskiy had control of the position.
Esteban has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Esteban sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tatarskiy's guard.

Tatarskiy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Esteban's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Esteban's back!

Esteban manages to stand up with Tatarskiy still on his back. Eventually Tatarskiy drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Esteban will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Vavilen Tatarskiy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vavilen Tatarskiy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
