Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brawl Leer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Leer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leer thows a body shot but no joy.
Leer scores with a body shot.
Rua misses with a series of wild punches.
Rua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Leer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rua swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A right-left combo lands from Leer.
It looks like Mauricio Rua has been cut.
Leer thows a body shot but no joy.
Rua takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Leer misses with the combination.
Leer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rua.
Leer stuns Rua with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Leer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Leer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rua manages to avoid it.
Rua takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Leer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Leer misses with a wild body shot.
Rua will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leer lands with an overhand left.
Leer connects with a nice looking jab.
Leer scores with a hook to the body. Rua takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rua looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rua throws a right hand that Leer ducks under and follows up with a left that Leer also avoids with ease.
Leer dodges the punch combination from Rua.
Rua throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leer.

Leer lands a nice hook to Rua's body. Rua takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Leer digs a good hook to Rua's body.
Leer drops Rua with a left and a right! Oh, Rua is hurt - Leer dives into side control looking to finish!
Rua is rocked!
Leer wants to stand but Rua has his arm trapped.
Rua is still in real trouble! Can Leer finish him?
Leer controlling the position from side mount.
Rua seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rua is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Leer is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brawl Leer.
Leer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That has opened up Mauricio Rua's cut even more.
Rua shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rua misses with a wild combination.
Leer is looking to wear down Rua with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Leer lands a slapping body shot.
Leer with a jab.
Leer swings for the body but Rua moves out of range.
Leer dodges the punch combination from Rua.
Leer with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Leer wants to stand but Rua has his arm trapped.

A lull in the action here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rua is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Leer is controlling him well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brawl Leer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mauricio Rua's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Leer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Leer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Leer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rua fails to land with a series of punches.
Rua misses with an uppercut. Leer saw that one coming.
Leer throws a shot to the body.
Mauricio Rua is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Leer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rua looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Leer connects with a body shot that sends Rua's belly button to the back.
Leer lands with a nice body punch.
Rua keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Leer. Those never looked like landing.
Leer moves away from the strike by Rua.
Leer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rua is breathing heavily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Leer and sends Rua crashing to the mat! Leer follows him down to the mat - Rua regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Leer content to control rather than advance.

We're going to have a standup here because Brawl Leer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Rua doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rua keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Leer jabs at Rua's body.
Leer lands a body shot.
Rua takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
No joy there for Leer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mauricio Rua's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Brawl Leer is winning the standup battle so far.
Leer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leer drops Rua with a nice combination! Leer dives into Rua's guard, looking to finish!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mauricio Rua's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, Brawl Leer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
