Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe McGraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dexter Morgan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan shoots in but McGraw avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Morgan avoids the head kick by McGraw.
McGraw moves in looking to clinch but Morgan pushes him off.
McGraw throws a sloppy head kick and Morgan moves out of range easily.
Morgan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morgan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Morgan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
McGraw scores with a three punch combo!
Morgan dives in and grabs McGraw's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGraw pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out.

McGraw takes the fight into the clinch.
Morgan wants to take the fight to the mat but McGraw manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Joe McGraw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Morgan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGraw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McGraw shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morgan is trying to defend but McGraw finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Morgan wants to control but McGraw is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGraw wants to stand but Morgan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Morgan is trying to maintain the position but McGraw is very close to passing his half guard.
McGraw wants to get back to his feet.
Morgan is concentrating on defense, preventing McGraw from advancing position.

Dexter Morgan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Morgan looks for a takedown but McGraw sprawls well.

McGraw shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morgan's guard.
McGraw wants to stand but Morgan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

McGraw avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McGraw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morgan's guard.
McGraw wants to stand up but Morgan is controlling the position.
McGraw looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
McGraw wants to take a breather but Morgan is having none of it.
Morgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morgan.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morgan wants to stand and escape but McGraw is having none of it.
McGraw has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Morgan working for a triangle but McGraw defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morgan trying to keep a closed guard but McGraw is proving a slippery customer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McGraw wants to pass the guard but Morgan is keeping the position.

That's time! McGraw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Joe McGraw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

McGraw manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Morgan on his heels. He'll look to pass Morgan's guard now, I'm sure.
Morgan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Morgan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McGraw's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGraw has a closed guard, preventing Morgan from standing up.
McGraw is trying to control the position but Morgan postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McGraw is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Morgan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Morgan wants to get up but he can't break McGraw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Morgan passes easily into side control. Nice work.
McGraw tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Morgan tries to get the hooks in deep but McGraw pushed the leg off.

Morgan is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged McGraw with him. McGraw is trying to defend but Morgan has an arm under the chin now! McGraw grimaces and is forced to tap out!
