Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hans Schwarz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Allen!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schwarz.
Allen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Allen throws an overhand right that lands on Schwarz's shoulder, as Schwarz tries to avoid the shot.
Schwarz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Hans Schwarz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allen blocks a jab.
Schwarz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Allen. That one must have hurt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Allen, right into the meat.
A punch combination from Allen misses.
Schwarz moves out of range of the leg kick from Allen.
Schwarz misses with an uppercut. Allen saw that one coming.
Schwarz misses with a straight left.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Schwarz paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen connects with a body shot.
Schwarz is breathing heavily.
Allen tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Schwarz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Allen misses with the combination.

Allen closes the distance and pushes Schwarz back into the ropes.
Allen works on Schwarz's body with a couple of short punches.
Schwarz blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Schwarz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Allen blocks an uppercut.

Schwarz breaks the clinch.
Jake Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Schwarz thows a body shot but no joy.
Allen with a nice cross.

Allen gets a clinch.
Allen throws a knee to the head but misses.
Schwarz takes a knee right on the jaw!
Schwarz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The referee is keeping an eye on Allen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Allen trying to stall but Schwarz improves his position.
Schwarz makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Schwarz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Allen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Schwarz.
Schwarz is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Allen looking to throw knees to the head but Schwarz is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Allen lands an elbow inside that Schwarz shrugs off.
Allen lands with a left to the head.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Allen prevents Schwarz from breaking the clinch.
Schwarz avoiding damage as Allen throws knees to the body.
Allen lands a right hand.
Allen prevents Schwarz from breaking the clinch.

Schwarz breaks the clinch.
Schwarz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Allen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schwarz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schwarz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Allen moves into the clinch.
Allen with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Allen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Schwarz tries to break free but Allen pushes him back against the ropes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Allen as Schwarz tries to tie him up.
Allen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Allen tries to land knees in the clinch but Schwarz avoids the damage to the body.
Schwarz's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Allen misses with a knee strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allen is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Schwarz content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Allen tries to land a knee to the head but Schwarz blocks with his arms.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Schwarz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Allen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hans Schwarz's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Schwarz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Allen wants to clinch up but Schwarz keeps it at a distance.
Schwarz avoids the head kick by Allen.
Allen fails in his attempt to clinch.

Schwarz gets tackled into the ropes by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.
Allen landing knees to the head.
Schwarz wants to get back to striking at distance but Allen won't allow it.
Allen wants to stall.

Schwarz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Allen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schwarz.
Allen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Schwarz scores with a jab to the body.
Schwarz takes one to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schwarz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Allen circles away quickly and effectively.
Schwarz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Schwarz misses with a jab to the body
and Allen counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Schwarz out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Allen is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jake Allen!
