Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Tron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen's entrance music is "Now You've Got Something to Die For" by Lamb of God. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mega Tron!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tron as he jumps to the side.
Hansen shoots in looking for a takedown. Tron tries to sprawl out of it but Hansen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hansen misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A cross from Tron lands.
Hansen fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Hansen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tron displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hansen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tron lands a nice shot that snaps Hansen's head back.
Tron tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hansen was well out of range. Poor timing from Tron.
Tron stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tron wants it to stay on the feet.
Tron gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hansen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tron avoids the body shot from Hansen.

Hansen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tron!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hansen controlling the pace for now.
Hansen raining down hammerfists from mount.
Tron really wants to buck Hansen off and get back to his feet.
Tron can't escape the position.
Tron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hansen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hansen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hansen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tron is squirming around, avoiding Hansen's attempts to control the action.

Hansen is working for a guillotine from mount but Tron frees his head quite easily.

Hansen is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hansen landing strikes, looking to finish!
Tron is in a horrible position here. Hansen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hansen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tron can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hansen wants to control the pace but Tron is squirming around nicely.

Hansen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tron has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hansen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tron is bucking up trying to escape but Hansen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Tron takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hansen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


Tron is rocked!

Hansen has hold of Tron's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tron manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tron can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hansen lands a big elbow - Tron is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Tron is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Andrew Hansen!
