The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nelson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wylde was covering up waiting for the punch and Nelson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Nelson stands up from Wylde's guard - Nelson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Nelson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wylde swinging wildly here.

Nelson moves into the clinch.
Wylde is trying to force a seperation but Nelson has the dominant position.
Wylde wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nelson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Nelson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Wylde. Those never looked like landing.

Nelson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wylde!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nelson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Wylde looks to land a combination but Nelson avoids it well.

Wylde tries to sprawl but Nelson drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Nelson wants to work for an arm triangle but Wylde is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nelson decides to return to a standing position.

Nelson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wylde to the mat! Wylde manages to get full guard.

Wylde is working an open guard so Nelson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Nelson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Nelson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Wylde could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Nelson has cracked it and Wylde is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Nelson!
