The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkoff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nestle.
Volkoff bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nestle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Volkoff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Check out the look on Volkoff's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Nestle tries to buck Volkoff off but Volkoff is having none of it.
Nestle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Volkoff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nestle keeps working.

Volkoff gets to mount! Nestle was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Nestle is bucking up trying to escape but Volkoff cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
