The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slamen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Edgar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Edgar shrugs it off.

Slamen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Edgar is now in Slamen's guard. A big mistake from Slamen there, giving up the dominant position!

Edgar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slamen dives on top into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slamen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
