We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Seles wants it to stay on the feet.

Nice uppercut lands for Seles. That snapped Mayers's head back.

It looks like Sol Mayers has been cut.

Mayers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Seles sprawls well. Seles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mayers gets slowly back to his feet.
Mayers is trying desperately to land a takedown but Seles is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mayers.

Seles is working the combinations to good effect here.
Seles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mayers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mayers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mayers circles away quickly and effectively.
Mayers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mayers has eaten all the pies!

Seles moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Seles wants to clinch up but Mayers keeps it at a distance.

Seles wants to get back to his feet but Mayers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sol Mayers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Seles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mayers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seles wants to stand and escape but Mayers is having none of it.

Mayers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Seles manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mayers has Seles in his guard.

Mayers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seles is aware though and is defending well.

Mayers quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Seles has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mayers celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
