Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Hudson as The Pitbull shoots in.
The Pitbull swinging wildly here.
Hudson misses with a straight left.
The Pitbull plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The Pitbull throws a big shot that misses.
The Pitbull missing with a left hand there. Hudson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The Pitbull throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The Pitbull doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hudson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hudson misses with a wild body shot.
The Pitbull fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John The Pitbull. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Pitbull avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The Pitbull is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hudson.

The Pitbull decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

and Hudson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The Pitbull looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hudson!
Hudson is trying to escape the mount.
Hudson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hudson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The Pitbull connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The Pitbull is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Hudson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The Pitbull clobbers Hudson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The Pitbull throws a jab but it's blocked by Hudson.
Hudson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The Pitbull misses with a jab, cross combination.
The Pitbull throws a right and a left that Hudson avoids nicely.
The Pitbull looks for a takedown but Hudson sprawls well.
The Pitbull moves out of range of the strikes.

The Pitbull lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The Pitbull connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hudson. Hudson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The Pitbull stuns Hudson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Pitbull shoots in and drives through. Hudson sprawls well.

The Pitbull scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hudson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The Pitbull wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The Pitbull stands up and we're back to a striking position.
John The Pitbull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Pitbull swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The Pitbull avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The Pitbull gets caught flat footed, as Hudson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John The Pitbull dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


The Pitbull bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hudson tries to stand and escape but The Pitbull is controlling the position.
The Pitbull is trying to stand.
Hudson wants to free his trapped foot but The Pitbull is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hudson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hudson won't let The Pitbull get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hudson with shots to the head and body - The Pitbull looks very uncomfortable down there.

The Pitbull wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The Pitbull tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The Pitbull is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The Pitbull wants to control but Hudson is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The Pitbull tries to hold on but Hudson pushes him away.

Hudson breaks from The Pitbull's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hudson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. The Pitbull looks a forlorn figure.


The Pitbull is rocked!
Hudson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have The Pitbull scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hudson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hudson stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Hudson!
