The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks shoots in for a double leg but Lake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sparks avoids a kick to the body.
Sparks goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lake misses with a wild combination.
Lake tests Sparks's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Sparks closes the distance and clinches.
