Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luther Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tortuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Tortuga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Tortuga!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tortuga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Conrad but Conrad pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Conrad shoots in for a takedown but Tortuga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Conrad gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Conrad will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Conrad drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tortuga manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Conrad has Tortuga in his guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tommy Tortuga wasn't active enough on the ground.

Tortuga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tortuga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Let's hope that Tortuga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Conrad closes the distance and clinches.

Conrad has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Tortuga regains guard immediately.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tortuga can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Conrad postures up in Tortuga's guard and throws a big left but Tortuga blocks it.

Conrad drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tortuga looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tortuga looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tortuga!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tortuga. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tortuga laying and praying for a moment but Conrad takes advantage and regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Tortuga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Conrad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tortuga paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tommy Tortuga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Conrad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tortuga as he jumps to the side.
Conrad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tortuga tries to avoid it but Conrad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tortuga to the ground. Tortuga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tommy Tortuga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tortuga has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
