PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iwasaki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Mitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kendall Mitch was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Iwasaki Okamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kendall Mitch!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitch has closed the distance and engaged Okamoto in a clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mitch connects with a nice short shot to Okamoto's temple.

Mitch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Okamoto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Iwasaki Okamoto will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Iwasaki Okamoto.
I think Okamoto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
