Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hois Kreisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Ravenstien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreisi comes to the cage accompanied by Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella. The key to victory for Hois Kreisi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hois Kreisi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robbie Ravenstien!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ravenstien shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kreisi pinned against the cage. Kreisi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ravenstien on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Kreisi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Robbie Ravenstien has been cut.
Ravenstien shoots in for a takedown but Kreisi shows good takedown defense.
Hois Kreisi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Ravenstien.
Horrible takedown by Ravenstien or perhaps it was just good defense by Kreisi which made him look bad.
Kreisi looks to land a combination but Ravenstien avoids it well.
Ravenstien goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kreisi keeping moving, preventing Ravenstien from controlling successfully.
Kreisi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ravenstien must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kreisi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ravenstien's guard.

Kreisi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ravenstien controls the pace.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kreisi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ravenstien is now in Kreisi's guard. A big mistake from Kreisi there, giving up the dominant position!
Ravenstien really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kreisi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kreisi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Kreisi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kreisi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kreisi misses with a two punch combination.
Ravenstien will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kreisi works the jab nicely.
Ravenstien tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kreisi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ravenstien somewhat.
Hois Kreisi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Ravenstien.
Kreisi fails to land with a series of punches.
Kreisi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kreisi getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Kreisi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Robbie Ravenstien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kreisi looks to land a combination but Ravenstien avoids it well.
Ravenstien has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Kreisi lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Ravenstien goes down and covers up as Kreisi starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hois Kreisi!
