Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Bensin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Quit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall tries to clinch there but Bensin circles away.
Bensin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marshall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bensin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marshall moves away.
Marshall fails with a takedown attempt.
Bensin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marshall eats them both and turns towards Bensin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bensin fails to land with a series of punches.
Marshall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Marshall swings around for an armbar but Bensin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Marshall's guard.
Bensin wanted to stand there but Marshall had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bensin trying to control but Marshall is working from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marshall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Marshall has control of Bensin's left arm, preventing Bensin from doing any damage.
Bensin wants to get up but he can't break Marshall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marshall keeping moving, preventing Bensin from controlling successfully.
Bensin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alvin Bensin wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Marshall looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bensin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bensin misses with the combination.
Bensin lands with a nice body punch.
Bensin scores with the left hand. Marshall knows he should have avoided that one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marshall.
Bensin punishes Marshall's body with a nice straight punch.
Alvin Bensin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Bensin.
Bensin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bensin.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
