Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Austin!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a takedown attempt - Austin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Austin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Li looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Austin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Austin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Li is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Austin is looking to take a break and control but Li is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Austin shoots for a double leg takedown but Li sprawls well. He's pushed Austin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Austin looks for a takedown but Li sprawls well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Li defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Austin.

Steve Austin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Austin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
