The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dag fails with a takedown attempt.
Baduk misses with a few strikes there.

Dag closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dag lands in his opponent's guard.

Dag is really struggling to control Baduk but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Baduk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dag cracks Baduk with a solid left hand.

Baduk pushes Dag off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Baduk is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Dag is trying to pull guard but Baduk turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Dag changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baduk fights it off and pushes away nicely.
