The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougle throws a head kick but Valuev moves out of range.

McDougle lands a big head kick that sends Valuev tumbling to the mat! McDougle takes a step backwards and waves Valuev back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ivan Valuev has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Valuev missing with a left hand there. McDougle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The fighters circle momentarily. McDougle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Valuev misses with a right hand
and McDougle counters with a huge right that knocks Valuev out cold! McDougle is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
