The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Day gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Tellerman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Day keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tellerman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Day hang on?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Day takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Day is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Day clinches up with Tellerman and pushes him back against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Tellerman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tellerman is trying to push Day away but Day has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Tellerman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Day shoots in and drives through. Tellerman sprawls well.

Tellerman tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tellerman is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Day wants a takedown but no success here.

Tellerman is pressed up against the cage. Day has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tellerman down to the mat. Tellerman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Day rushes Tellerman and presses him up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Day is looking for a takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jackson Tellerman will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Well Tellerman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
