The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voax stuffs the takedown.
Thompson moves in looking to clinch but Voax pushes him off.
Voax scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Thompson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Thompson clinches up against the cage.

Thompson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Voax avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Voax is looking to control Thompson's arms but Thompson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Voax has his back to the cage.

Thompson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Voax fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Thompson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Voax manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Voax steps in with a hook that catches Thompson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Voax follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Thompson looks absolutely devastated.
