Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laarj Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Reaper is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dong drops back looking for a leg! Reaper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reaper manages to kick Dong off! Dong jumps back into Reaper's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Reaper stuffs the takedown attempt from Dong. Dong gets slowly back to his feet.
Dong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reaper paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Reaper won't allow Dong to sweep him here.

Reaper has gone for a leg lock! Dong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reaper's guard.

Reaper is keen to just control but Dong is a slippery customer.

Dong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
