Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pot shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pot showed some decent athleticism there.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fire in particular looking to stall.

Pot on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Fire is stalling here. Pot is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fire seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pot has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Pot is looking to take a break and control but Fire is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Fire avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fire is fending him off so far but Pot persists. Nope, Fire circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fire swats away the attempt to clinch by Pot.
Pot shoots in for a takedown but Fire shows good takedown defense.
Harry Fire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Pot.
Pot feints a jab promting Fire to slip. Pot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fire slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jack Pot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fire shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pot as he jumps to the side.
Jack Pot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pot wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Fire. No joy for Pot on that attempt.
Pot cracks Fire with a good jab.

Pot drives through with a takedown into Fire's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Pot wants to control from the top but Fire keeps moving.

Jack Pot has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Pot feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fires jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fire looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pot is fending him off so far but Fire persists. Nope, Pot circles away and we're back to standing.
A right-left combo lands from Pot.
Pot tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fire paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fire enables Pot to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fire manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fire keeping moving, preventing Pot from controlling successfully.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Pot.
Pot scores with a punch to the head.

Pot has managed to clinch.
Pot is trying to pull guard but Fire has him pressed against the cage.

Pot breaks from the clinch.
Pot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fire manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harry Fire is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pot tries to clinch up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fire shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pot defends it nicely.
Pot wants to clinch up but Fire keeps it at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jack Pot.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
