The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heke misses with a head kick.
Cadge lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heke circles away quickly and effectively.
Heke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cadge.
Heke throws a head kick that misses.
Cadge throws a combination that misses
and Heke counters with a straight right hand.
Nathan Cadge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cadge throws a series of punches but Heke moves out of range.
Cadge shoots in and drives through. Heke sprawls well.
Cadge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Heke counters with a series of strikes. Cadge will be more careful next time no doubt.

It looks like Jake Heke has been cut.

Cadge shoots in looking for a takedown. Heke tries to sprawl out of it but Cadge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Heke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jake Heke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Cadge.
Heke throws a nice looking combination but Cadge bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Heke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cadge tries to clinch there but Heke circles away.

Cadge gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cadge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cadge walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Heke gets a double leg takedown into Cadge's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Heke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cadge swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Heke loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Cadge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heke manages to get himself to full guard.

Heke trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Heke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cadge is controlling him.
Cadge advances to half guard.
Cadge uses his free foot to push down on Heke's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Heke.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cadge lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jake Heke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cadge misses with the combination.
Cadge tries to clinch there but Heke circles away.
Cadge closes this distance looking for a takedown but Heke circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cadge manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Heke on his heels. He'll look to pass Heke's guard now, I'm sure.

Cadge seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cadge decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cadge turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Cadge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cadge steps into range and cracks Heke with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Heke flops backwards and Cadge dives into his guard looking to finish!

Heke is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cadge arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Heke's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
