Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collin Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Collin Hathaway!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier loads up on a big right hand but Hathaway slips the punch.
Frazier throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hathaway uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frazier.

Frazier shoots in and gets a takedown into Hathaway's guard.
Hathaway looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hathaway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frazier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Frazier wants to control from the top but Hathaway keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hathaway looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frazier is one step ahead there.

Hathaway is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Frazier pushing down on Hathaway's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Hathaway tries to kick Frazier off but Frazier keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hathaway wants to stand back up but Frazier manages to pass into side control.
Hathaway gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frazier wants to control but Hathaway is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frazier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Frazier decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Frazier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frazier wants it to stay on the feet.
Hathaway tries to clinch but Frazier is having none of it.
Frazier fails with the takedown.

Hathaway fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frazier to the ground. Hathaway is now in Frazier's guard.
Frazier is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Frazier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hathaway gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hathaway got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frazier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hathaway has managed to get both his arms back between Frazier's legs - danger averted.

Hathaway is sitting in close to Frazier's body. Frazier has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hathaway is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hathaway is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Frazier.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joe Frazier!
