Bennet's entrance music is Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. A fine choice. Vladimir Nakamura acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nakamura throws a series of punches but Bennet avoids them all with ease.
Nakamura misses with a head kick.
Nakamura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bennet manages to avoid it.
Nakamura throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nakamura throws a body punch but Bennet moves out of range.
A low kick from Nakamura is predictable there

and Bennet counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nakamura!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nakamura has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bennet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vladimir Nakamura's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

In his post fight interview, Charles Bennet started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
