The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Aries.
Aries shoots in for a takedown but Langol shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Langol avoids the head kick by Aries.
Aries tries to score a power double leg takedown but Langol sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aries somewhat.

Aries dives in and grabs Langol's left leg, looking for a takedown. Langol pushes down on Aries's head and hops out.

Aries goes for a takedown attempt but Langol pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Langol enables Aries to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Langol manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Aries feints a jab promting Langol to slip. Aries then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Langol slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
