The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Limber working for a triangle but Johnson defends it easily.

Johnson stands and steps away. Limber gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Limber tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Limber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Limber looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Limber looks to move to half guard but instead Johnson has passed into mount! Damn!
Johnson breaks from Limber's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Limber is bucking up trying to escape but Johnson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Johnson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Martin Limber has been cut.
Johnson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Johnson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Limber is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Limber covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
