A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Malinokowski.

Butler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Malinokowski wants a takedown but no success here.
Malinokowski has Butler pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Butler manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Butler has Malinokowski pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Butler pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Malinokowski tumbling to the mat - Butler dives into Malinokowski's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Butler loads up on a big left hand. Malinokowski felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Butler looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Malinokowski can't hide his disappointment, as Butler celebrates the victory.
