Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Spankovski.
Spankovski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Spankovski clinches with his opponent.
Spankovski content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Spankovski keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Spankovski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Peter Johnson has been cut.
Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Spankovski pulls his leg out and moves away.
Spankovski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Spankovski clinches.
Spankovski has Johnson pressed against the cage.
Johnson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Spankovski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Johnson to the mat. Johnson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Johnson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johnson looks gassed!
Johnson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Spankovski throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Johnson's body to avoid the submission. Johnson has instead reached around Spankovski's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Johnson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Peter Johnson!
