PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick comes into the arena with Boom\ P.O.D blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rua's choice of entrance music: Time For War. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Dick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Rua!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick works Rua's body with a nice hook.
Dick lands a jab to the head.
Rua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dick.
Rua takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dick swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dick wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dick scores with a sloppy right hand. Rua should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dick digs a good hook to Rua's body.
Rua looks gassed!
Rua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Danga de danga de dang - Dick scores with a four punch combination!
Dick is looking to wear down Rua with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Rua tries to clinch up.

Oooooh!!! Dick has knocked Rua down with a huge combo! Dick steps away and waves a wobbly Rua back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rua is rocked!

It looks like Diego Rua has been cut.
Dick wobbles Rua with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Dick dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Rua to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Big Dick!
