PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Kerrr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigroklaws Demauler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tigroklaws Demauler was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marc Kerrr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tigroklaws Demauler!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demauler pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Demauler throws a low kick, looking for Kerrr's leg but Kerrr calmly moves out of range.
Kerrr moves out of range of the body kick.
Kerrr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Demauler swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Demauler misses with a double jab.
Kerrr tries a head kick but it misses.

Demauler feints and as Kerrr raises his hands in defense, Demauler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kerrr looking for a sweep. Not yet Kerrr, not yet.
Kerrr lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Demauler!
Kerrr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like Tigroklaws Demauler has been cut.
Demauler should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kerrr jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Demauler is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Demauler and Kerrr has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Demauler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerrr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kerrr throws a strike aimed at the side of Demauler's head but Demauler avoids it well.
Kerrr throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Demauler wants to get back to his feet but Kerrr drags him back down.
Demauler tries to improve position but can't.

Kerrr wants to control but Demauler is keeping him busy.
Kerrr works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Kerrr stands up.
Demauler looks gassed!
Demauler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Demauler throws a nice inside leg kick.
Demauler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kerrr shoots for a double leg takedown but Demauler sprawls well. He's pushed Kerrr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kerrr fails with a takedown attempt.
Kerrr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kerrr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kerrr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Demauler but Demauler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Kerrr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kerrr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Demauler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kerrr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kerrr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demauler tries to roll over but Kerrr keeps him under control.

The fighters are battling for position here. Demauler manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kerrr won't allow Demauler to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kerrr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kerrr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kerrr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Demauler circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

and Demauler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Demauler moves into the clinch.
Demauler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kerrr has him pressed against the cage.
Kerrr tries for a takedown but Demauler manages to get underhooks.
Kerrr tries to pull guard but Demauler holds him up against the cage and eventually Kerrr drops back down to his feet.
Demauler drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kerrr gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Demauler misses with an elbow over the top.
Demauler makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Demauler scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kerrr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Demauler fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Demauler stuffs the takedown.
Demauler blocks a head kick by Kerrr.
Demauler fails to land with a series of punches.
Kerrr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Demauler is fending him off so far but Kerrr persists. Nope, Demauler circles away and we're back to standing.
Kerrr moves out of range as Demauler throws a body kick.
Kerrr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Demauler pinned against the cage. Demauler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Demauler connects with a body shot.
Demauler throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kerrr counters with a solid body kick.
Kerrr fakes the leg kick and cracks Demauler in the body.
Demauler fails to land the takedown.
Kerrr fails with the takedown.
Some wild striking there from Demauler.

Kerrr scores a takedown into full mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kerrr looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Demauler tries to lock up and control but Kerrr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kerrr punishing his opponent with strikes.


Demauler is rocked!


That has opened up Tigroklaws Demauler's cut even more.
Demauler is squirming around, avoiding Kerrr's attempts to control the action.
Demauler is still in real trouble! Can Kerrr finish him?
Demauler wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marc Kerrr dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tigroklaws Demauler's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kerrr.
Demauler seems to have recovered his senses.
Demauler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Demauler scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nice sprawl there from Demauler as Kerrr shoots in.
Demauler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kerrr shoots in looking for a takedown. Demauler tries to sprawl out of it but Kerrr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Demauler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Kerrr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Demauler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kerrr moves out of range of the body kick.
Kerrr drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Demauler right on the button. Demauler goes down! Kerrr follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Kerrr gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Kerrr!
