The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Evans attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Evans goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Evans misses with a low kick.
Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Evans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Evans takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Evans.
Evans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones connects with a single shot there.
Jones is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Evans had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Jones lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jones lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Evans goes down and covers up as Jones starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
