Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Ferra Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Menger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez comes to the cage accompanied by I Put The Finger On You. Menger has chosen Bring Back The Music - by Sweatshop Union as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Felipe Ferra Gomez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carl Menger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Menger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gomez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Menger misses with the ground and pound.
Gomez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Menger on the ground.

Menger tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Menger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Menger swings around for an armbar but Gomez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Menger's guard.

Menger looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gomez has picked Menger up and slammed him! Menger can't keep hold of the triangle and Gomez manages to pass to side control!
Gomez wants to stand but Menger is controlling his arm.

Gomez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Menger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Menger is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gomez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
