The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes tries to clinch

and Tuzzio counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Nunes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tuzzio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Nunes is trying to pull guard but Tuzzio has him pressed against the cage.

Vince Tuzzio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pietro Nunes.

Nunes gets control of Tuzzio's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nunes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Tuzzio is in close to Nunes's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tuzzio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tuzzio is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nunes looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tuzzio gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nunes is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tuzzio lets go of the hold and Nunes can pop his arm back in it's socket.
