Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Roode!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roode tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Snow swivels and escapes.
Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roode manages to avoid it.
Snow tries to clinch up.
Snow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Snow works over Roode's head and body with a nice combination.

Snow takes the fight into the clinch.
Roode jumps guard but Snow turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Snow is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Snow misses with a punch to the body.
Snow is looking to control Roode's arms but Roode gets an underhook and turns him. Now Snow has his back to the ropes.
Roode can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Roode. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snow stalling in the clinch but Roode improves position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snow throws a head punch that misses.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Roode tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Snow looking to stall.
Snow is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Roode has denied him.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jon Snow.
Roode dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Roode's head and hops out.
Snow lands a nice shot that snaps Roode's head back.

Snow clinches up with Roode and pushes him back against the ropes.
Roode is looking to take this one to the mat.
Snow looking to stall.

A nice right hand lands inside from Snow.
A short body shot lands from Snow as the two fighters clinch.
Roode is looking for a takedown.
Roode is breathing heavily.
Snow is trying to maintain a safe position but Roode gets an underhook and turns Snow into the ropes.
Snow lands an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roode is trying to drag Snow to the mat but Snow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Roode prevents a body shot from Snow.
Roode has Snow pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Snow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Snow misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Roode drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Snow misses with a hook from the clinch.
Good body shot from Snow.
Snow tries a body shot but Roode blocks it.
Snow has Roode pressed against the ropes.
Snow is trying to maintain a safe position but Roode gets an underhook and turns Snow into the ropes.
Snow is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Snow pushes Roode back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jon Snow.
Snow lands with a right hand.
Snow lands a nice hook to Roode's body. Roode takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Snow tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Roode manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Snow forces Roode back against the ropes and clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Roode tries to break the clinch but Snow is controlling the position.
Snow lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roode backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snow is looking to control Roode's arms but Roode gets an underhook and turns him. Now Snow has his back to the ropes.
Snow lands a body punch in the clinch.
Roode has had enough of the clinch but Snow keeps him there for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Snow dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


The fight stays on the outside here - Snow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snow lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roode at a distance.
Roode throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snow's waist but Snow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roode off to one side.
Roode drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Snow. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Snow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roode stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bobby Roode is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Roode counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Snow's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roode won't allow Snow to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Snow is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Roode wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.
Snow wants to get back to his feet but Roode is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Roode passes Snow's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Snow is trying to stand up here but Roode is controlling him well.
Roode is pressing down on Snow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Snow is holding on for now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Roode is working for a kimura but Snow is defending it quite comfortably.
Roode frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Roode throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Roode goes for an armbar but Snow turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Snow.

Snow tries to stand but Roode is controlling from the bottom.

Roode is looking to sinch up a triangle. Snow throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Roode's body to avoid the submission. Roode has instead reached around Snow's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Roode arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bobby Roode!
