Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skyshriek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by Slaap lekker!. Skyshriek has chosen Moonlight Sonata as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi blocks a leg kick.
Gomi throws a series of punches but Skyshriek avoids them all with ease.
Gomi wants to clinch but Skyshriek slips to the side
and Skyshriek counters with a stiff right hand.
Skyshriek cracks Gomi with a good jab.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
