The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jontop misses with a head kick.
Jontop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jontop closes the distance and pushes Fartch back into the cage.

Jontop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jontop scores with a head kick.

It looks like Dom Fartch has been cut.
Fartch avoids the head kick by Jontop.
Fartch steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jontop. That one must have hurt.

Jontop darts in and clinches Fartch up against the cage.

Jontop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fartch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jontop swivels and escapes.
Fartch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hugh Jontop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jontop drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fartch pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jontop shoots in looking for a takedown but Fartch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jontop's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jontop keeps Fartch at a distance using the push kick.
Horrible takedown by Fartch or perhaps it was just good defense by Jontop which made him look bad.
Fartch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fartch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Oooooh!!! Jontop has knocked Fartch down with a huge combo! Jontop steps away and waves a wobbly Fartch back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fartch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jontop throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fartch dodges the punch combination from Jontop.
Jontop throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fartch is breathing heavily.
Fartch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fartch seems to have got his legs back now.

Jontop has managed to clinch.
Jontop changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fartch fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jontop shoots in for a takedown but Fartch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Fartch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fartch.

Jontop stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Fartch has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Jontop manages to get his head free but now Fartch has transitioned to an armbar! Jontop grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Fartch! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
